File Yeet is a peer-to-peer file transfer application. We never:

• See, store, or have access to your files
• Track the contents of your transfers
• Require an account or personal information to use local transfers
• Sell any data to third parties

What We Collect

For users of the free local transfer feature, we collect no data at all.

For users of relay-based transfers (paid plans), we collect:

• Account information: Email address for account creation and billing
• Usage metrics: Transfer volume (in bytes) for billing purposes only — not file names, types, or contents
• Payment information: Processed securely through our payment provider; we never store card details

Relay Transfers

When direct peer-to-peer connections aren't possible (e.g., restrictive NAT), transfers may be routed through relay servers. Even relayed data is end-to-end encrypted — relay servers cannot read your file contents.

Analytics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated analytics to improve the product (e.g., crash reports, platform distribution). This data cannot be tied to individual users.

Cookies

This website uses essential cookies only (e.g., theme preference). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data Retention

We retain account data only as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the application or via email for registered users.
